Premises Liability Personal Injury Shooting Case. $750,000. Plaintiff was shot in an apartment complex in Fulton County. Apartment community lacked adequate security; and had allowed a group of young teens to constantly loiter on the property and commit crimes against neighbors. The Plaintiff, an innocent bystander , was shot as this group of teens entered the breezeway, drew weapons and began shooting at another person. The apartment complex lacked adequate security, and were on notice of prior substantially similar crimes on the property. Our Plaintiff survived.
Premises Liability Personal Injury Shooting Case. $737,500. Plaintiff was shot in an apartment complex and robbed as he took out the trash one evening in 2019 in Dekalb County. The apartment complex lacked adequate security, and were on notice of prior substantially similar crimes on the property. Our Plaintiff survived.
Premises Liability Personal Injury Shooting Case. $650,000. Plaintiff was walking to his car which was located in a commercial business parking lot in Dekalb County one evening in 2022, when he saw two men breaking into his car. When the perps saw him approach, they began to chase Plaintiff to rob him. They shot him in the stomach. He survived. The parking lot owners lacked adequate security and were on notice of prior incidents of a similar nature having occurred on their property. Multiple claimants. 1 million dollar policy limits exhausted.
Truck Wreck Personal Injury Case. $1,100,000.00. Plaintiff was rear ended by a big truck one morning as she traveled on Interstate 20. She suffered serious injury, however she survived.
Car Wreck Personal Injury Case. $300,000 policy limits. Plaintiff was injured as an oncoming vehicle attempted to make a left turn in front of her vehicle at an intersection. Plaintiff suffered injuries.
Premises Liability Personal Injury Shooting Case. $130,000. Plaintiff sustained a through and through gunshot injury to thigh. No lingering medical complications. Plaintiff was on the premises of a public transit authority at the time of the incident. He was an innocent bystander. The defendant had prior notice of other shootings on its premises before this incident. Inadequate Security was its negligent conduct.
Wrongful Arrest/Negligence. $150,000. Plaintiff was an invitee inside the Defendant’s business having her nails done. She received a pedicure and manicure. Afterwards, Plaintiff paid for the service via CashApp card. The defendant negligently stated they had not received the payment on their end. The Plaintiff left thinking everything was resolved. Unbeknownst to Plaintiff, the nail shop called the police and wrongfully reported to the police that the Plaintiff received their services without paying. Months later, the Plaintiff was arrested by the police for theft of services, and spent a day in jail. We filed suit and recovered compensation for her ordeal.
Premises Liability Personal Injury. $88,000. The Plaintiff was instructed by the Defendant automobile dealership to return a loaner vehicle to its premises one evening and park it in a specified location. Plaintiff did as instructed. As the plaintiff exited the vehicle and walked to the rear of the vehicle, he tripped and fell over a metal pole implanted at the curve and grassy area; which was not visible to him. He fell and injured his knee and hand. Defendant possessed a duty to keep it premises safe; including maintaining sufficient lighting so that its customers can safely travail their premises.
