Ms. Tekari J. Matthews

Tekari received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College in 2017. During her matriculation in undergrad, she was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Society, the Spelman College Newspaper The Blueprint, and participated in many off-campus community service activities. She also studied abroad one summer in Lisbon, Portugal where she immersed herself in European customs and traditions. Tekari is currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate degree and is attending Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to working in the legal field, Tekari worked as a Disability Adjudicator where she discovered her interests in both the legal and personal injury field combined.

Tekari Matthews is a Legal Assistant who exclusively works in the Personal Injury and Criminal law fields. Her duties range from conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, maintaining contact with clients, and assisting with case preparation, only to name a few. Her role is important to the firm because she provides valuable assistance to lawyers, by honing her ability to multitask, prioritize, and write important legal documents and correspondence. She interacts with clients on a daily basis by interviewing them, scheduling meetings, and updating them with pertinent information regarding their important legal matters. Tekari’s analytical skills and appreciation for detail has led her into a career in the legal field as a legal assistant for both Personal injury and Criminal lawyers. She enjoys working alongside her dad, and other siblings. Upon graduation from law school, she intends to continue with the firm as an attorney; and will be a staunch advocate to those in need of her services.

A true native of Georgia, Tekari enjoys exploring new places, spending quality time with family and friends, fashion, and considers herself to be an avid reader.
